There is no love like the love of a dog. Their companionship and devotion fills a void we never knew we had! Not everyone has the time or space however for a high maintenance pooch. Low maintenance dogs will require minimal if any trips to the groomer. They have shorter hair that I easily manageable and can be brushed and washed at home. Do be mindful however, that they will require nail clippings to prevent their nails from becoming caught on anything and tearing (this will also protect your floors and furniture) and bathes to keep their coats healthy and clean.

Health

There are some dog breeds that are more prone to health concerns than others. As a low maintenance dog owner, you want to ensure that your little (or Big) one is healthy all the time.
