Nolan & Charlie
We adopted Nolan and Charlie this past weekend and we couldn't be happier with our decision!! Daniel and Doug were remarkable throughout the process and it was obvious to us that the pups came from a family oriented environment where the early foundation for potty training and socialization had already been instilled. We appreciated the consistent communication and seamless adoption process. And of course we are most grateful and elated about our newest family members!! Thank you!!
Any baby, regardless if it is human or an animal, is the cutest thing ever. When we have a dog, we would if we could stop time and keep them that way. Their mugs are simply adorable when they are small puppies, so we would love to have them like this forever. But is that possible? Are there dogs that look like puppies forever? If so, there would be a frenzy around them because everybody would like to have a forever puppy breed. But perhaps there are a couple of breeds that do look like puppies, even if they are mature dogs. They belong to the toy sized or pocket-sized breeds, which usually don’t grow too much as adults either. The Yorkie, Pomeranian, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, or Maltese are those dogs that can have a puppy-like appearance for the rest of their lives.
Well, scientists did not find a way to freeze dogs at a puppy stage, but as mentioned before, there are a couple of toy breeds that can remain as much as possible as puppies. You can even help them by giving them a puppy cut, instead of the fancy parade cut. Not only that the puppy cut will be more practical for you, but they will also give them that puppy looks once again. When it comes to all the previously mentioned breeds, it is their coat, which starts growing as they reach maturity, which usually changes their appearance. But the matter can be easily solved with a coat clipping. To be honest, I adore the puppy cut on my Maltese. Not only will it make her look a lot younger, but it also gives her that feisty puppy attitude. She is utterly adorable after I pick her up from the dog salon.
In case you are looking for a new dog breed that won't lose puppy face, don’t bother looking for it, because it doesn’t exist. In case you want to enjoy a puppy-like dog, your only option is to get a toy breed. If you have a Saint-Bernard, you won’t definitely manage to get him to look at a puppy, when his weight as a mature dog will reach 80 kilos. Besides, small dog breeds are perfect for life in the apartment. Although terriers may be a bit hyperactive, so you may have to walk them a bit more often. Of course, the only exception to the rule being the Yorkie. It is a terrier breed as well, and it can be quite energetic, but this type of dog will be satisfied by the couch as well. Now that you have satisfied your curiosity about breeds that look like puppies forever, you should know that there are many small sized breeds that will look adorable even as mature dogs. But before picking one, it is best to do some research upfront. Some breeds tend to be louder, as they like to bark, some will need special grooming, some are lazy, and some may be a bit too hyperactive for you. So it counts a lot what type of person you are if you want to find the best dog in your case.
Every dog can be a puppy forever, if you make sure to give your dog the proper attention, to walk him and play with him, and to love him, of course. A loved dog will be a dog that looks and behaves like a puppy because he is a happy pet. So your attitude and care towards your dog may keep him young for very many years to come.
